Lifestyle Membership
We have introduced a new Lifestyle Membership category for new members.
This membership category would suit people who work away from home or because of work/ family commitments cannot commit to playing regularly.
Membership will run from 1st October 2025 to 30th September 2026.
Criteria of Membership
i. Can play in Optional Medals and submit Supplementary Scores but cannot enter balloted medals.
ii. Gain and maintain a handicap in the same way as an ordinary member would.
iii. Can book a time through online booking system.
iv. Can sign on visitors using their points for the same rate as they paid for themselves.
v. Points will be the equivalent to one £pound e.g. £250 will equate to 250 points.
vi. Joining Fee - £100 (deducted from joining fee should you upgrade to different category)
vii. Initial subscription will be £304 plus £25 Bar Card plus £21 Golf Union and 250 points
viii. Points will only be valid up to 30th of September each season.
ix. Further top up for golf playing points would then be a minimum £50 (this will be carried on after September if not used)
x. At 1st of October of second year will be charged £304 for your renewal.
xi. Top up bar card as any member would.
xii. No voting rights.
xiii. Ineligible to play for any team.
xiv. Not allowed to enter matchplay competitions.
Cost and Times of Play
No Play Saturday or Sunday before 2 pm.
A. Peak Times –Mon to Fri (4pm to 6.30 pm)
B. Mid Times – Mon to Fri (8am to 4 pm) Sat & Sun (2pm to 5pm)
C. Low Times – Mon to Fri (after 6.30 pm) Sat & Sun (after 5pm)
• Peak Times (25 points)
• Mid Times (20 points)
• Low Times (15 points)
Youth and Intermediate Membership
Intermediate Members will also require to pay the Entry Fee in force at the date of entry and will have similar playing rights to Ordinary Members. Intermediate Members will have no voice in the management of the Club’s affairs, no right to vote at General Meetings and no right or interest in the property of the Club but are subject to the Rules and Bye Laws of the Club and to the authority of the Committee.
Junior Membership
TIMES OF PLAY
Monday and Thursday - No time limit
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday:
Must tee off before 4.15pm or after 6.15pm
Saturday:
Play is permitted from 1.30pm provided no Ordinary Members are waiting and from 3.00pm play is unrestricted. Except that Junior Championship Finalists on The Championship Day will play as arranged by Committee. During the months of October to March inclusive Junior Subscribers may start from 1.30pm provided no Ordinary Members are waiting.
Sunday:
Play is permitted from 1.30pm provided no Ordinary Members are waiting.
Social Membership
Social Membership is inclusive of access to all facilities at Kirkhill Golf Club. This is excluding golf, which will be charged to Social Members at the Visitor’s rate. Members in this category can enjoy access to all events in the Club’s Social Calendar.
Social Members will receive newsletters and updates on social and golf events, tournaments and special offers. Members also have access to the Members Area of the website, which gives details of the latest news, events and special offers.
