We have a first-class course which is presented in excellent condition. There are two club buggies which are available for hire. Visitors are asked to present themselves at the pro shop on first arrival where the pro shop staff will assist by providing information about the course and our facilities.
Please refrain from changing in the car park. The pro shop staff can give you access to the locker rooms.
Payment will be taken at the time of booking and a full refund will be given should the course be closed. Kirkhill Golf Club have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
Guide for visitors
Kirkhill Golf Club creates a friendly relaxed environment however we do ask our members and visitors alike to respect the course, facilities and other players. In this regard we have put together a basic guide sheet, the points of which are shown below.
Facilities
We have full changing and showering facilities at the club. We have catering facilities Tuesday to Sunday.
Practice Facilities
Complimentary use of our practice facilities is available to everyone prior to their tee time. This includes,
Practice putting green located close to the Clubhouse and first tee.
Driving range, practice net and short game area located close to the clubhouse
(please note that we do not provide golf balls).
Dress Code
Our clubhouse favours a relaxed atmosphere, where the dress code is smart but casual. Smart denims are permitted in the clubhouse (avoiding ripped jeans or cut off denims) however we request that football colours, rugby tops, shell suits and track suits are not worn and that all headgear is removed prior to entering the bar, lounge or dining room areas. We do not request collar and tie in any of our dining areas.
On the course, golf attire is requested including golf shoes. Please use the facilities provided to clean both shoes and trolleys before returning to the car park or entering the clubhouse.
Mobile phones:
The use of mobile phones on the golf course is frowned upon, if you do have to take your mobile on the course please ensure it is either switched off or on silent. We would appreciate your consideration for others and request that you do not use your mobile on the course or in the lounge areas of the clubhouse.
Course Etiqutte:
No player should play until the players in front are out of range. However, players are requested to play without delay.
Course Care:
Replace any divots.
Repair your pitchmarks on the green.
Trolleys and carts should be kept clear of the greens and tee areas.
Rake bunkers after use.
Do not lean on your putter when removing the ball from the hole.
Avoid taking practice swings except in designated practice areas.
